Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description:  Light-medium weight silk is a 1980's piece originally intended to make a woman's kimono; fabric background is solid moss-green with designs on one side (print) in mostly tans and browns; also a few greens; Motifs are a classic array of many flowers as well as 'kozuchi' treasure/lucky mallets*, scrolls, arrow feathers and mon (family crests); (Learn about these *kozuchi on Wikipedia HERE.)
