Fabric Description:  Lightweight silk is a 1980's piece originally intended to make a woman's kimono; fabric background is in a combination of different shades of browns, burgundy-brown, and tans; designs same on both sides; slightly textured due to weaving, similar to chirimen;  Motifs are sort of abstract, modernistic and are composed of rugged-edged rectangular shapes in rows that run laterally; seldom seen motif.

Colors: These subtle colors are hard to render in digital photos, so please consider our text descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric, as colors and contrast differ on different devices.

Condition: Excellent.
