Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's pieces derived from deadstock rolls (10yds each) of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used)

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric probably used to make girl's kimono; the fabric is lightweight with no sheen; smooth to the touch; slight drape; Background is white with mottled light gray specks throughout; Fabric is a colorful print with designs of rows of hexagonal shapes in different colors (red, blue, green, pink, purple, and aqua); designs on one side; distinctive design.
