Fabric History/Pedigree: Deadstock, yukata cotton, unused from the 1930s-1950s.
Fabric Description: Lightweight, translucent fabric is a traditional cotton fabric originally intended for use in making a yukata (summer cotton kimono) or coat; Color is a background of dark charcoal-black evenly spaced multi-colored striped bands in parallel running lengthwise(vertically); Colors of the bands include burgundy, mauve, green, browns and whites (see close-up).
Condition: Excellent for its age.
