Fabric Description: Japanese good quality vintage silk kimono fabric originally intended to make girl's ceremonial kimono; background-colors are bands of soft-white and pink, bands running laterally; Motifs include: Orizuru (Folded origami of cranes), decorative crests, classic chrysanthemums of various sizes and in bright colors; in the white background fields note the geometric maze-like design which contains an ancient symbol for shrines; preponderant colors of motifs are reds to vermillion, as well as blue, with some whites, yellow aqua, and green; see close-ups. Designs print on one side.
