Fabric Description: This good quality, 1930's silk is a lightweight fabric, originally used to make woman's kimono; Motifs are on both sides; the pale aqua-green background is interwoven with symmetrical diamond-shape-based lattice pattern which runs throughout; fabric motifs are classic renderings of various chrysanthemums and bamboo leaves placed irregularly throughout as well as classic clouds; Colors in designs: light to olive-green, salmon, copper, mauve, blue, mustard and gray;  well as decorated soft pouches with decorative cords winding around in the background; The flowers are rather larger in scale than usual, also, colors are predominantly light and pale: (off-white, light lavenders, peach, and various light greens) also with some moss-green and bits of orange accents; the fabric is not smooth to the touch, some drape, good for making scarf, accessories or for textile art. (see close-ups).

Colors: Please use our text color descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric due to differences in contrast and color on different devices.
