Fabric Type: Light-medium weight roketsu-zome silk originally for use in making nicer woman's kimono; fabric is slightly textured, not quite chirimen; motifs are on a soft-white background of classic Japanese plum blossoms, maple leaves; note also the tiny leaf vein lines(see close-ups); Colors of the various designs are mostly burgundy to dark Fuschia with some accents in light mustard and tan.
