Fabric History/Pedigree: Light-weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1930s-1950s.
- Fabric Description: This is high-quality Japanese cotton that is very slightly translucent (only against bright light); Patterns same on both sides; the layout is of three equally-sized columns that run lengthwise; There are interwoven checkerboard-like figures (1 inch/25.4mm) squares arranged in symmetric grids throughout, and within each color areas; Colors are (left to right) a rusty-red, tan w/dark tan, and dark moss-green (with a mix of slightly lighter moss-greens).
- Fabric Type: Patterns are on both sides, a rectangular tiny mesh design; Still slightly firm, fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, luke-warm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).
