- Fabric History/Pedigree: 1930's to 1950's silk fabric pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall, by click-pushing HERE.
- Fabric Description: Meisen silk, lightweight; more modern looking patterns, irregularly placed rectangular shapes cascade down the length, each figure with different designs within, to include: dotted fields and various floral designs; same on both sides; no sheen.
- Colors: Background is a deep cherry-red with designs in yellow to mustard, greens, off-white, orange and salmon colors. (Please NOTE that colors differ on each device so use our text descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric).
