Fabric Description: Medium-weight silk originally intended to make a woman's kimono; This is a 1960's fabric piece which is a grayish-blue in color, rendered by the weaving of slightly different colors of lateral threads creating a striated appearance; There are 2 rectangular shapes (5" X 1.125"/ 12.7 cm X 31.75 mm) whose significance we're unsure of, but they resemble Aztec themes; fabric weave is same on both sides but the 2 rectangular figures look like the back of brocade on reverse side.
