Fabric Description: Medium-weight silk originally intended to make a formal woman's kimono; This is a higher quality and thicker silk fabric piece with a background of dark chocolate color(almost black) with interwoven burgundy-red color to render the designs; motifs are 5 royal flower carts within  cloud-like outer boundaries; the rest of the fields are tiny diamond squares shapes(1/8"/3.17mm) in a symmetrical mesh grid layout; On the reverse side the colors are negatives: burgundy-red background and black figures/designs; On both sides the burgundy-red areas have sheen.

Recommended for making scarf or accessories.
