Item Details and Description
Fabric History/Pedigree: 1980's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono mock-silk (synthetic); (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used).
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage light-medium weight mock-silk kimono fabric originally intended to make a women's kimono; the background is several shades of very pale greens and off-white; designs also interwoven with darker greens; Distinctive design combining geometric lattice-work style grid with lengthwise .5"/12.7mm bands in alternating darker to lighter pale-greens; Fabric has a very slight feel of wool, so perhaps it may be a synthetic-with-wool blend, but we're unsure.
If purchasing more than one piece, sent in uncut lengths.
