Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructionist called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.
Fabric Description: Background is black with parallel stripes in brown and white (alternating) (see close-ups); resembles kasuri look due to fuzzy boundaries of white pinstripes(which also skip spaces; looks same on both sides. (See our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).
