Item Details and Description:
- Fabric History/Pedigree: Light-weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1940s.
- Fabric Description: Light-weight cotton only very slightly translucent; Patterns same on both sides; charcoal-black background, patterns are mock-kasuri figures, interwoven (not dyed as true kasuri is(see close-ups).
- Fabric Type: Patterns are on both sides, 1.25 inches (31.75mm) square plus sign shapes, each with different arrangements of squares and goemetrics within; these figure are arranged in parallel staggered rows running lengthwise; figures' colors are various hues of brown, whites and grays.
