Fabric Type: Originally used in woman's everyday kimono; lightweight Fabric is very textured, similar to chirimen, but the rougher touch is due to the tiny pixels interwoven throughout; Background is cream color, with designs of curlicue lines, floral and vine shapes; This design has a distinctly Western sense to it,sometimes found in the 50s-60s in Japan as fabric makers experimented with different and non-Japanese themes; fabric has slight drape, recommended for making scarf or accessories.
