Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of Japanese silk (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used.)

Fabric Description: lightweight fabric used to make woman's under-kimono (nagajuban) or kimono liner; translucent with a slight drape, good for making scarf, accessories or for textile art dyeing; higher grade Japanese silk; interesting designs are a field of  pink fans and square shapes overlapping and irregularly placed. Fabric is cream with designs in light-pink; Our last picture is a strong close-up, intentionally exposed to better reveal the shapes, so the color of the background is not representative.

Colors: Background is cream color with designs in light pinks.

Condition: Excellent.
