Fabric Type: Lightweight silk is a very pale light-green background with small designs of cranes, bamboo leaves, plum blossoms, pine branches (all traditional classic designs) which fill the field of the fabric; each figure is less than one inch; colors of designs are soft-white; This pattern is on one side only, but a faint shadow of patterns and colors visible on reverse; fabric is very slightly translucent,no sheen, slight drape.
Due to small size of designs, recommended as good for komon type projects or dollmaking.
