- Fabric Description: Japanese vintage traditional Tsumugi is a pongee type silk-making process using raw silk threads; Plain solid-black background with scattered 4 inch (10.16cm) long designs of leaves or vines, with small white square accents; design colors in light-brown, gray and white; designs same on both sides; this tsumugi is a light fabric, slightly translucent, smooth but no sheen.
