Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description:  Lightweight kimono silk is a 1950's piece; background color is dark peach, with interwoven hexagonal shapes in a grid throughout; beautiful, differently rendered flowers in three groups (as shown); each with flower within; interstices are small squares;  Colors of the flowers are:  shades of light to dark green, mustard, dark plum, dark Fuschia, white, gray; fabric has a nice drape and with sheen; There seems to be dabs of paint or dye within the blossoms as those colors do not seem to be interwoven, we're unsure.

Colors:  A reminder that colors differ on different devices, so please refer to our text color descriptions.

Condition: Excellent.
