Fabric History/Pedigree:   Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description: lightweight fabric originally used to make woman's under-kimono (nagajuban) or kimono liner; slight sheen, nice drape, good for making scarf, accessories or for textile art dyeing; high-grade Japanese silk has slight chirimen textured touch; interwoven maple leaves throughout and visible on both sides.

Colors: Background is pale pink with gradation to soft-white.
