Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description:  Lightweight kimono silk is a 1980's piece; Fabric is a darker peach color with very fine black stitching in the interweaving of this fabric; motifs are of the tortoise shell grid type, hexagonal shapes in a symmetrical grid; within each shape is also a flower design in diamond configuration; the weave creates very tiny horizontal and vertical lines which create the patterns; same on both sides.

Colors: Our closest close-up is intentionally over-exposed, so it looks more reddish than actual color; colors in other images are closer to true color of this fabric; A reminder that colors differ on different devices, so please refer to our text color descriptions.

Condition: Excellent.
