Fabric Description: lightweight silk; smooth feel; This is a 1950's black piece of silk kimono fabric with colorful, different motifs in mix of vermilion, mustard, off-white; designs on one side but same muted figures can be seen on the reverse.

Fabric Motif: About 1 inch / 2.54cm figures some that mimic common Kasuri (ikat) designs and others cluster of different size dots/circles; all these figures are arranged in offset parallel rows making a grid throughout; please see close-ups.
