Fabric Type: Lightweight kimono silk fabric is intentionally woven to create a textured surface (similar to chirimen) with designs on one side; accent salmon-colored brocades (close-up); Fabric has interwoven wave patterns rendered with tiny shibori-like dots as part of the weaving process (see close-ups); Reverse side shows back side of brocade threads for the salmon-colored figures; color is mauve background.
