Fabric Description:  Light-weight silk for women's kimono which is a slight type, textured to the touch and slightly translucent, look resembles meisen with a kasuri-like blurred appearance to designs; This is an older piece from 1930's-50's that is in a dark coral blue background color; fabric has designs on both sides of very large leaves running lengthwise; also there are horizontal bands, meant to evoke water in traditional Japanese art: Design colors are several shades of soft-white with red partial lines as accents in few places.
