Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono shibori (tie-dyed) fabric designed for use in making woman's silk kimono; done by a hand-made tie-dyed process(called Shibori), the design is similar to classic Japanese tortoiseshell patterns placed throughout fabric; same on both sides.
Colors: Background is a light peach-shaded color tan with dark green designs made via shibori dots-lines (see close-ups).
Note: If buying multiples of this, it will be sent in uncut length.
