Fabric History/Pedigree: 1950's fabric, deadstock (like new, never used from another era) for use in making higher-end lady's silk kimono; 100% Japanese rinzu silk; Received as a partial roll; designs shown are continuous.
Fabric Type: Light-weight dark salmon color silk with intricate background designs in soft-white lines; designs of the background are classic traditional, including: streams, bamboo, peonies, iris camelia, pine trees; there are two large decorated fan pairs ( 2 per yard); The fans have floral motifs and traditional bridges; all on one side; other colors of designs include dark blue, light blues, dark vermillion and red, also gray, green and tans.
NOTE: Multiple lengths ordered will be sent in one uncut piece.
