Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage lightweight silk kimono fabric used to make woman's kimono; fabric is patterns on one side, slight sheen with abstract patterns; motifs are small and intricate geometrics with undulating rows across which are 3/4 inch / 19.02 mm deep; design is similar to traditional motifs but they are different; colors are pale peach light-golden brown and pale grays; see close-ups.
