Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description: Light-weight silk hand-done shibori (tie-dyed); originally intended to make nagajuban; This is a 1970's fabric piece with background of  dark emerald green with white typical tiny dots (from shibori process); this piece is accented with maple leaves in lime and yellow. very distinctive and same on both sides.

Condition: Excellent.
