Fabric History/Pedigree: 1950's, pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric used to make lady's under-kimono (nagajuban) or kimono lining; Entire fabric is interwoven with traditionally rendered large chrysanthemums motif throughout.

Fabric Type: Lightweight silk,  light salmon-pink in gradation to cream colors with touch of very light baby-blue in places. 

Sold in 2 yard length pieces only.

Recommended for making scarf, accessories.
