Fabric Description: Lightweight 1950's silk. lighter weight summer silk (but not 'ro'), slightly translucent with some drape; designs are interwoven so same on both sides; evocative of designs seen in tradtional kasuri (ikat) fabrics, geometric, fuzzy edges to designs (To learn more about traditional Japanese kasuri our info page is HERE.

Colors: Fabric is a vermllion with slightly rusty tone (less of the orange seen in pure vemillion (called 'shuiro') color. Design patterns are in various shades of mustard, gray, black and ivory.
