Fabric History/Pedigree: 1990's  pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used); 

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's silk kimono; interwoven background  is burgundy color with textured spots throughout by means of interweaving; ( these background "spots" are of falling cherry blossoms in traditional Japanese art and can only be seen under close inspection); white blossoms falling are the dominant motif and are about one inch / 2.54 cm at largest dimension;

Type: Light-medium weight Japanese silk, only slightly textured to touch, slight drape; subtle higher quality silk.

Condition: Excellent.

Note: If buying multiples of this, it will be sent in uncut length.
