Fabric History/Pedigree: 1950's, pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner / reconstructer called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage  cotton-asa(hemp/flax-based traditional Japanese fabric);  fabric used to make woman's kimono.
This is done in traditional  Roketsuzome process (Batik style wax-resist dyed).

Measurements: width =13.75 inches/ 36.2 cm; Length= 1 Yard (..91 m).

Condition: Excellent.
