Item Details and Description
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage wool kimono fabric used to make woman's kimono; deadstock (old but never used, taken from a roll).
Fabric Type: Light-medium weight wool, slight drape; Japanese wool is smoother and tighter weave than many Western worsted types of wool. (Interesting discussion of the term worsted wool is here.)
Measurements: width=14,5 inches / 36.83 cm; Length= 1 Yard (.91m).Colors: Background is mostly dark peach, with various shades of pin stripes and tiny grids using black, yellows, pastel greens and grays (see close-ups).
Motifs: This is a distinctive mix of pinstripes, pixelated pinstripes & grids, with stripes running vertically and horizontally; also, note two columns (vertical) are separated by a black band at one-third mark across.
Note: If buying multiples of this, it will be sent in uncut length.
