Fabric History/Pedigree: 1950's pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used);
Fabric Description & Designs:: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's every-day dress silk kimono; solid black fabric with scattered one inch (2.54cm) circles in off-white/silver and burgundy-plum colors. Designs are interwoven in the fabric, same on both sides.
Type: Light-medium weight Japanese silk, slight drape; no sheen, textured to the touch.
