Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's  pieces derived from full deadstock 12m | 13yds roll of kimono silk, chirimen (crepe) type; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used); Authenticated Seal of Authenticity: 100% Japanese silk and chirimen(crepe)type. 

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's upper-class dress silk kimono; designs are most distinctive: patchwork of lined shapes which are triangular (oblique) or other multi-sided shapes, each containing a different motif; please see close-ups. 

Type: Light-medium weight Japanese chirimen silk, nice drape.

Colors: Backgrounds vary with each shape, alternating between tan and burgundy color backgrounds Wide range of earthtones but a preominance of the rusty-burgundy as well as dark forest greens. 

Condition: Excellent.
