Item Details and Description:
- Fabric History/Pedigree: Medium-weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1950's-60's;This is a cotton used to make a streeet-wear cotton kimono (yukata), not a bathrobe type.
- Fabric Description: This is a background composed of thin dark black fine pin stripes alternated with rusty burgundy stripes which have slight metallic look (depending on the angle of lighting) orbs in off-white-gray with burgundy vertical stripes are clustered throughout..
- Fabric Type: Patterns are on both sides; More for street-wear yukata rather than after-bath type as the material is more tightly woven and is heavier than most of our other cottons. Still firm, softens with wash.(hand-wash separately, luke-warm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).
- Condition: Excellent.
