Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from deadstock bolt of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's kimono; patterns same on both sides.
Type: Light-weight Japanese silk.
Measurements: width=14 inches / 35.6 cm; Length= 1 Yard (.91m).
Colors: Background is dark plum (hint of burgundy) color with off-white tiny diamond-shapes made in the shibori process (tie-dyed).
