Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's-1970s, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's silk haori (kimono coat); patterns on one side.
Type: Light-weight Japanese silk, slight drape; better quality but not in damask style nor with sheen.
Measurements: Minimum -- width=14.5 inches / 36.8 cm; Length= 1 Yard (.91m).
Colors: Background is in gradation colors of peach with hint of light lavender shifting in darkness along the fabric lengthwise (see close-ups); speckles are in dark fuschia and soft white.
