Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's or earlier, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric used to make woman's kimono; Interwoven traditional swirling water lines throughout.
Fabric Type: Light-medium weight silk, design on one side.
Measurements: width=14 inches/35.6cm; Length= 1 Yard (.91m).
Colors: Background is burnished gold with orange motifs; gold metallic threads in places as accent; slight sheen.
Motifs: Traditional large fans with cherry blossom designs on them over traditional swirling lines (evoking water in traditional sense).
Condition: Excellent.
