Fabric History/Pedigree: 1950's-1960's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new, but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric used to make woman's kimono.
Fabric Type: Light-medium weight silk, design same on both sides.
Measurements: width=14 inches/36.6cm; Length= 1 Yard (.91m).
Colors: Background is black & dark royal blue;stripes:vermillion red, mustard,light mustard,kelly green,one pinstripe of mettalic gold thread.
Motifs: Solid stripes running lengthwise, varying thickness.
