Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used)
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric used to make a woman's kimono.
Fabric Type: Lightweight woven silk, closer to undyed silk feeling (slight textured to touch); large cranes in flight, 7 lateral fields, 7 cranes each piece.
Colors: lateral bands backgrounds alternate tan,rusty-orange & light green; cranes are in dark red and other shades of red, or, light orangish tan with dark burnished plum and dark olive greens; or, dark kelly and other green shades.
Motifs: Cranes in flight.
Condition: Excellent. Suitable for Framing or Hanging Display.
