Fabric History/Pedigree: Pieces derived from partial deadstock bolt, estimated from 1980s; "Deadstock" means old from another time, but never used.

Fabric Description: Lightweight cotton originally intended to make a boy's ceremonial kimono; This  piece has deep-blue and soft-white tan background;  Classic themes for boy's ceremonial: samurai full battle headgear regalia(kabuto), with tassels, Large waves and streams, pine trees, bamboo leaves, fish, and Uchide no Kozuchi (Treasure Mallet/Magic Hammer)The lateral white-to-tan bands alternate with the dark blues, and have the kabuto (headgear) over them; Colors of the designs include blues, greens, browns, blacks,whites, dark burgundy-red; same on both sides, no sheen; minimal drape.
