Fabric History/Pedigree: This is a 1960's lightweight deadstock mock-silk (synthetic); (deadstock means new but unsold stock from earlier time); found in roll.
Fabric Description: Slightly textured chirimen mock-silk fabric background is a gradation combination of light purple(pastel) and white; designs on one side of small flowers and leaves, Flowers are komon, meaning small size designs, largest flower shapes are less than half an inch (1.3cm) diameters; most flowers (sakura) are white but note the other colors interspersed: dark pastel rusty burgundy and pastel olive greens.
