Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's pieces derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used);
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric designed for use in making woman's dress silk kimono; simple pin stripes of varying thickness run lengthwise(vertically) in light burgundy alternated with colonial blue and grayish-blues stripes; Large floral designs in gradation coloring, apparently Iris flowers.
Type: Light-medium weight Japanese silk, minimal drape.
