• Fabric History/Pedigree:   Lightweight thin deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1960s.
  
  
• Fabric Description:  Lightweight cotton yukata (summer kimono) fabric with patterns same on both sides: thatch work pattern in layers of dark colonial blue below, dark navy above: The patterns are irregular rows and columns of similar sized squares and rectangle shapes with whites interspaced; see closeups.  
  
  
• Fabric Type: Still slightly firm, the fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, luke-warm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).
