Fabric Description: This distinctive Japanese vintage traditional Tsumugi is a rarely-seen light-weight, slightly translucent pongee type cotton; charcoal color background with impressionistic (fuzzy boundaries) evocative of kasuri/ikat patterns; designs are butterflies and suzume birds(Tree-Sparrow); design colors are dark to light-tangerine colors and tans ; same on both sides; no sheen, lightly textured, minimal drape.
