Item Details and Description

Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from deadstock roll of Japanese polyester mock-silk (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used.)

Fabric Description:
 lightweight fabric used to make woman's under-kimono(nagajuban) or kimono liner.

 Background is orange and white.

 This is a common classic traditional Japanese motif of stylized traditional Japanese waves. 

Condition: Excellent. Washable, strong.
