Thanks to all who came out to AnimeNext in Atlantic City; new products(?)

June 15, 2016 Yoko Lewis

Kinchaku, drawstring purse, small, hand-made yokodana kimono

We're back and rested up after a busy weekend at AnimeNext in AC. Thanks to all who stopped by to see us at the new venue in the Atlantic City Convention Center. We liked the new venue and layout; the dealers hall was spacious and separated from other things (such as the bands), with the Artists tables area in same hall as dealers. Customers commented on liking the new venue very much as everything was centrally located.

We are looking at a couple possible new venues for the fall, but are not sure yet. We'll announce to members and post here once things are definite.

As for the website, we'll be adding more vintage silk and other vintage kimono fabrics starting tomorrow. Also, we may put up to the website a few of our hand-made purses/accessories (made from our vintage kimono fabrics by Yoko's kimono-maker sisters in Japan). At present we do not have such a collection on the site but these were VERY popular at the con so we might put a few up to the site depending on visitor interest. Let us know if you'd be interested in this sort of thing (byleaving comment to this post below.

Purse above is 6.5 inches tall, 5.5 inches across (not counting strings or tabs).
