Due to the fact that we deal in mostly one-of-a-kind items, works of art and unique pieces, the 'rules' of wholesale are somewhat different than when dealing with conventionally manufactured items. As our pricing philosophy is somewhat different (see details on our approach to pricing) so too is our application of discounts.
As our purchasing prices vary considerably with the market, the more valuable art kimonos and finer antiques or antique textiles can not always be discounted to the same extent as our regular vintage kimono and fabric pieces.
