This is a light weight Japanese silk estimated from the 1950's; This is fabric which was from an old kimono, taken apart, cleaned and re-rolled.

While this fabric is light , it has some drape and is still intact and strong, like new; motif printed on one side to mimic the shibori (tie-dyed) pattern (this is NOT shibori) is of origami cranes; colors are red and white.

Clean and recommended for creative uses in making quilts, scarf, clothing accessory, etc.
